Sorry it's been so long, been a bit busy... Y'know, video games and such. Important stuff. Anyway, here's the dealio. Comin up NEXT on the Life Teen agenda (excluding Life Nights and Prayer group every sunday and thursday, of course) is Anaheim Youth Day. Commence your cheers of excitement and delight now. When you're done, just come back to this site for the details.
For those of you who haven't the slightest clue what Anaheim Youth Day is all about, it's a "one-day getaway to Anaheim..."
While you're there, you will feel the awesome energy of 15,000 other Catholic teens getting together in ONE SPOT to praise Jesus. It's awesome-good times! There will be a concert, entertainment, fellowship, etc. You'll have a good time if you go, so don't miss this opportunity, seriously.
GOOD NEWS!! You get the day off from school, AND it counts as two life nights toward your confirmation requirements!
When: February 17, 2005
Time we take off from church: 6:00 am (so nap on the bus if it's too early)
Time we INTEND to get back (estimate): 5:30 in the pm.
Cost per teen: ONLY $35!! (not including food, so bring money or a sacked lunch)
You can get permission slips at the Life Teen office if you need any. Talk to any core members for mas information.
Coming up after Anaheim Youth Day is True Love Waits retreat. It's a very cool retreat. I've gone every year we've had one available, and I love it. Very fun and deep. I always enjoy. And this year, we have a very special and new feature that we never had before: ME!!! YEAH! You know you're all excited now.
Anyway, that's all for now.

If I were to say the Winter Retreat wasn't too bad, I would be lying so bad.
It was the best EVER!!!! Adoration was amazing, so many of us were effected. I know I, for one, was crying like a little baby who gets teased by the bigger babies. Amazing times. The skits went great, all the retreatants were totally cool, and the food was so delicious it's not even funny! We had a wonderful time up there.
I hope all you teens that went will keep what you got up there with you at all times. Jesus loves you, in spite of location or emotion. Take him with you. That's why Core spent the time to make you those bags with little goodies and CD's. Please keep up your prayers and attitudes, and KEEP GOING TO LIFE TEEN!
As for those of you who didn't get a chance to go to the winter retreat, remember that there's always Life Teen to help you out if you need it. But unfortunately, we will not be having Life Teen or Prayer Group for a little while, due to Christmas. Enjoy your families, and the birth of your savior, Jesus Christ. Say a little prayer when you wake up on Christmas Morning, and thank Jesus for becoming human just for you. Cuz Jesus rocks.
In other business, I believe our next big event would be True Love waits, which is in February?? I believe so, I will have to check later. True Love Waits is an awesome experience, and if you're willing to make that promise to God, your future spouse, and yourself, you should check it out. Good times.
Again, the Winter Retreat was an ultimate success, and I can't wait until Winter Retreat 2005.

| Hear ye, young brethren,
Yo. This is Joey again. Well, Life Teen is certainly looking up, God is answering all our prayers and bringing many new faces. BUT IT STILL ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH! MORE TEENS! MORE FACES! We're having a lot of good times lately, you should all come join the fun and excitement! (I should be a salesman)
Prayer group is looking up as well, but still not as big as we would like. Yeah, we have more teens, but nowhere NEAR as many as we used to back in the day. It's kinda like a dilluted more easy-going version of Life Teen. Check it out.
WINTER RETREAT! Spots are almost entirely gone. Don't wait until the very last minute... Well... it actually pretty much IS the last minute. We are almost out of spots. Hurry up and get your permission slips in, or else face the disspointment of watching all the cool kids going up the mountain to have a good time, while you're stuck at home. With nothing to do. Sounds TERRIBLE! Just kidding, but seriously, hurry it up and get those permission slips in! Thankyou!
And please keep not only the teens in your prayers as I'm sure you HAVE been doing, but please pray for your core team as well, because we're really pushing the limits and trying hard to make this retreat perfect. Thankyou very much, we appreciate it a lot!
In conclusion, Joey rocks. Big time. Joey is just SO awesome. Seriously.

| Most Righteous Dudes and Dudettes,
Yo kids, it's Joey. Since Tim is too busy to update, I guess I'll do my best and try to keep up myself. Well, as y'all know, the retreat is coming up. It's next month, and spots are seriously filling up like mad-crazy. Y'all needa hurry yoselves up and sign up. Seriously, it's good times all around. You should all go.
This week, as you would have probably guessed, because of ThanksGiving there will be no Prayer Group *saddened*. Wich, by the way, is getting lame. Not because prayer group is lame, no. It's because NOBODY'S GOING! We had ONE teen last week! C'mon guys, it's good stuff. It's every thursday at 7:00. It usually lasts until 8:30-9:00... But it varies here and there.
On the other hand, Life Teen on Sundays is certainly lookin' up. Lots of new faces around, which is awesome. But that doesn't mean we wouldn't accept more! Come on over if you want. Mass starts at 5:00 and ends at 6:00. Life Teen starts immediately after Mass. We encourage you to try it out. It's a lot of fun!
